This weekend I went down to Williamsburg to get away from the weekend. Now as some of you know, this city has great historical value to America. There is an original part called Colonial Williamsburg which has actors and various original buildings to visit and explore.
Now in this shot, I was going into the general store late at night in search of something to drink when I started to hear drums and a fife outside. I then saw three men playing outside by candlelight. I quickly grabbed my 70-200 2.8 and tried to get some shots. I think it's extremely difficult to shoot in candlelight but I was quite surprised with the results.
Yeah I love going to Williamsburg, I only live two hours from it. It's such a great place to take photos and it is so full of history. It's amazing to go buildings in England from periods before then see the architecture from a colonial perspective. Quite different almost. You should defiantly go to one.
Oh wow, that's pretty lucky. ^_^ It's first hand history! Most likely more interesting than school! X3;; I should. :3 My family and I were supposed to go to Europe in August but my mom had gotten into a car accident three months before and her neck was still hurting so we had to cancel it. I'm sure she'd enjoy going to a colonial town though. It'd be enlightening and fun all at once!

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
